ValueChain Maps

Value chain mapping

Value chain maps for markets that matter.

What it shows

What is a value chain map?

Traditional value chain analysis often describes the activities inside one company. A market value chain map takes an external view: it identifies the stages of a market, separates those stages into decision-useful segments, and places relevant companies inside each segment.

This makes the map useful for market research, investment preparation, competitive analysis, partnership discovery, and understanding how changes in one part of a market may affect the rest of the system.

Stages

The major steps from upstream inputs to downstream demand.

Segments

Distinct capabilities, products, and roles inside every stage.

Companies

Category leaders, specialists, challengers, and emerging players.
